With over 20 years’ experience in making up brides my knowledge and understanding of wedding makeup is second to none. My experience has led me to becoming an industry expert within the wedding makeup field. My calming manner and attention to detail has ensured I have been at the heart of the makeup industry for over two decades. I use only the best make up brands for my clients including Mac, Laura Mercier, Nars and Tarte. Working as a freelance makeup artist for over 20 years has given me great insight and knowledge into working with these prestigious brands and many more.

For my bridal clients I design each make up look to captivate their natural beauty whilst enhancing their features. I ensure that my brides will feel at their most beautiful on their special day.  I do this by giving a bespoke makeup service to each and every bride guaranteeing that the makeup is specifically tailored to enhance my bridal clients beauty and vision.

The Makeup Trial

I recommend a trial so we can work together to create a look that is picture perfect for you. Combining my knowledge and artistry with your dreams and aspirations ensuring you are 100% happy when the trial is complete. I will travel to your location of choice and bring everything with me so you can relax and enjoy the experience. Before bridal trial its handy to gather some images of the kind of makeup look you have in mind, or at least some aspects of a makeup look you like the look of so I can see the kind of idea you have pictured in your mind . Also if you have chosen your dress and have a photo that will help me to see the whole theme and feel of your wedding.

I do a full face makeup look so you can see exactly how you will look on the day and then tweak the look. A trial lasts up to 90 mins . When you are happy with your look I will record all the products and take a photo so we know exactly the makeup look for the big day. I take a non refundable deposit to secure the wedding date.

The Wedding Day

On the wedding day I will come to the location where you will be getting ready for your special day. The bridal party takes approximately 45 to 50 mins per person. And 60 mins for the bride. I bring everything with me to make your day as stress free and special as possible. We can draw up a schedule prior to the date so everyone has their individual time slots and everything runs smoothly. I like to do the brides makeup second to last or near the end so then all she has to do is to get into her dress and have a glass of champagne. I also have a team of artists I use regularly if it is a large bridal party with a time limit on getting ready.

I suggest where possible to have hair done first and then makeup so the makeup is as fresh as it can be. The wedding makeup looks I do are long lasting however it depends on the weather and your skin and the actual makeup look its self as to how many touch ups you will need through out the day. I recommend purchasing the lipstick or lip products I use as well as a powder and a blusher to touch up throughout the day to ensure you look as amazing at the end of the day as you did when you took your vows.
